iCal error message- 403

iCal on my MacBook Pro keeps popping up with this message no matter what I do 'Access to account “iCloud” is not permitted. The server responded: “403” to operation CalDAVAccountRefreshQueueableOperation

I have tried unchecking iCal on my iCloud and then checking it again, that didn't work. I have also tried signing out of iCloud on my MacBook then signing back in again but that didn't work either.

Hello. I found a way to solve this (this only works in Yosemite).

1. Uncheck all calendar accounts in Settings -> Internet Accounts

2. Go to ~/Library/Calenders

3. Delete following 4 files:

Calendar Cache

Calendar Cache-shm

Calendar Cache-wal

Email Cache.plist

4. Shutdown your Mac and start it up again.

5. Open Calendar app and then enable all calendar accounts again.

Boom.
