    Try settings, general, reset, reset network settings and see if that helps.

    for your internet you can also try to powercycle your router. Unplug it, count to ten, plug it back in and let it boot up and see if that works.

    TThanks for that. Had to connect to another wifi source, connect to iCloud, turn off find my iPad. Did a reset and then reconnect to my usual wifi source. The reset worked I hope.

    why do Apple not check potential problems through before issuing upgrades , as system only failed when I upgrad to IOS 8
