iPad Mini Retina rotation issue after installing iOS 8

Note: The category should have been iOS, but it wasn't available.

///

After installing iOS 8 on my iPad Mini Retina 32GB the rotation doesn't work right.

Sometimes it works - others times it doesn't.

It's like it sticks, as I turn the pad.

It's either no rotation or rotation. Once the sticking is unstuck, it rotates normal.

Properly the worst ask for support ever, but it's difficult to be more precise :-/

Not at all. You provided information that makes sense. Try there two basic first step troubleshooting steps.

Reset the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider if it appears on the screen - let go of the buttons. Let the iPad start up.

You can also try resetting all settings. You will not lose any data, but most of the device settings will have to be entered in the settings app again. Settings>General>Reset>Reset all Settings.

You make a very good point about the bold font feature in the accessibility settings. I was using the Button Shapes feature and it made all of my iWorks apps crash if I tried to access the help feature in any of those 3 apps. Really strange stuff and it makes me wonder how well some of this stuff is checked out before an iOS is released.

Anyway, I'm glad that you got it working again.
