iPhone 6 screen easily scratched?

Have been taking EXTREMELY good care of my 6+, but the corners already have visible scratches. Anyone else experiencing this?

So this is my first iPhone ever...I got a 64gb 6s in space grey. I just switched after using Android for years and while I love the phone and the Apple OS I do agree that the screen seems a bit fragile. I have had my phone a week and I already see a very small surface scratch. I have never been a fan of screen protectors but decided to get one for this phone since it seems to be such a widespread issue. Other than the screen seeming very prone to scratches it appears to be great and I am happy otherwise. I have read that for very light surface scratches the adhesive on the screen protector more or less filled them in and makes them practically invisible as long as the protector is on. To be realistic though, no screen is going to be 100% scratch proof. Glass scratches eventually even if you baby the device. I expected some eventually so I guess it's not that big a deal but I just got one sooner than expected. I'll even bet some of the people who said they have no scratches probably do have some but they're just not so actively looking like some others do. People with eagle eyes that are driven insane by them are far more likely to find them than those who couldn't care less about a minor scratch here and there. Is it annoying to see one after just a week? Yeah it is... But I think it's kind of expected eventually anyway.

**** people, quit rationalizing as to why its your fault for any scratches either because you put a case on day two or not etc, bottom line is Apple is at fault here and lets hold them accountable. Every post should be: Apple whats up? Just got my phone and it scratches like instantly, what are you going to do about it?! Grow a spine america.

Get a case and look after your phone a bit better. I'm not going to do anything about it for you.

No. 1 because I am not Apple (you would have seen that this is a user to user site if you bothered to read the Terms Of Use you agreed to, which clearly state that Apple do not monitor these forums.

and No. 2 because you have an attitude problem which will win you no friends here and little help.

Have a nice day 🙂

I Just noticed a couple of hairline cracks on my 6s Plus that look like this. Only visible from an angle and I can't feel anything on the surface. I have my phone in a BookBook case. I put my phone in it right after I opened the phone at the Apple Store. My 5s never showed anything like this.

MY fear is that because it is showing this crack on the right side where my thumb rests that using 3D Touch is going to turn these into a bigger problem. I did pay with my AMEX card because they have the best purchase protection.

I am thinking about taking it in to be looked at.

I Bought an iPhone 6s on Tuesday ... Today it's Sunday and I already found 2 scrarches on The screen... I had my previous iPhone 5c for one year and a half. And never had a scratch on it. I never took great care of my iPhone 5 but never had a scratch . Now 5 days after using the 6s with too much care,y see scratches.

Was there a change in the glass? They will have to review this issue for the next model.

Why is the branched discussion restricted?

Anyway, I'm having the same issue and already on my second phone. First one came with two deep scratches out of the box. It took some convincing but I got the local apple store to replace it. This second phone looked great (I checked before leaving) and now after only a couple weeks I have many tiny scratches on the top and bottom of the phone, which aren't a big deal, but this morning I found one major scratch on the screen. This one I can feel with my nail, it is a deep divot. I've never scratched an iPhone like this before and my old 5 I had for 3 (rough) years before upgrading to the 6s.

Anyone have any solutions or good stories from Apple? Not screen protectors, but replacements that then did not scratch? Or is this 100% of 6s phones?

I had this occur on multiple iPhone 6 Plus's so I did not want to take a chance and find out if there is still an issue with the iPhone 6S Plus. I put a screen protector on. I never had this issue with a previous iPhone and I have owned ever generation of them.

Also, had my 1st screen crack on the iPhone 6S Plus. Days after purchasing it fell off my bed. I was shocked that the screen shattered from such a small fall. After getting it repaired I immediately bought an impact resistant screen protector to not only protect from scratches but also slight falls.

It's sad to see Apple going backwards with screen durability. I guess that needs to be considered as cost of doing business with iPhones from now on.
