iPhone 6 Plus Bending?

I currently own an iPhone 5 and I want to upgrade to an iPhone 6 Plus. Im a bit concerned of the bending reports there has been. If I buy a 6 Plus and it were to bend would I be able to get it replaced for free without AppleCare+. I understand it's not a software issue so it shouldn't be covered but since this seems to be a flaw in iPhone 6 Plus design would it still be replacable for free?

I wouldn't worry about your iPhone bending that much. Considering only nine cases have been reported, you have a higher chance of your phone else trotting you than you do of it bending under normal usage conditions. If you fear it might go under pressure in your pocket or something, a decent case should completely cancel out the malleability factor.

Wow. I applaud the Orwellian stupidity in this forum. you are free to do as we say!

if I unintentionally sat down on my phone it would be unintentional.

feel free to "moderate" my post if it isn't the same opinion as yours.

Intent isn't relevant when it comes to physical damage. Whether you intentionally drop your iPhone into a pool, or you fall into the pool by accident with the iPhone in your pocket, it really don't matter. Neither is covered under the hardware warranty.

there were 10,000,000 iPhone sold in the first 3 days 8 of them were sent to apple because of bending. I have had my 6 plus for 2 weeks now it 100% fine there is no bending i have it in my front pocket every day. if you put it in your back pocket any phone will bend/break. if your phone is bending in your front pocket you need to get looser pants. in Canada you get apple care for $99 and if your phone breaks because it bends, breaks, water, anything you can pay a $79 deductible and get a new phone

There are a lot of people on very high horses in this forum, when all they need is a pony.

Evn if I spoke lyk dis, u knw wot im sayin n wot i mean. You don't "need" to decipher, that is your choosing. His point was made non the less.

My phone, (Apple iPhone 5), decided for me what I meant to say, eg. your, you're. My "mistakes" were left there intentionally, it's what the phone thought was best. Non the less, you fully understood what I meant and so, my point has been made. If you want to be helpful then by all means, help. If you are here to make yourself look important, then you are very sad indeed. Have fun!

So it's your phone that can't spell then?
