My music disappeared all of a sudden when I was trying out the Cloud. It exists in my Time Machine backup. Is it possible that I need to make a new iTunes library to find the songs or can I update it all from Time Machine? Hope somebody can help. I am running the newest version of the OS and of iTunes.

I would suggest restoring your iTunes Media folder from your Time Machine backup. Please use the attached article as a reference and for instructions on how to complete the restore. I am also including an article to show you the location of your iTunes Media folder.
