Imac - should I buy fusion drive?

Hello there,

I am planning to buy an imac. I would mainly use it just for normal internet usage like browsing, managing photos, but occasionally I would need to access to my company network which needs to be in WINDOWS and some enterprise applications that I need to run like MS outlook, ERP system, things like that.

I am thinking to install a VM (VMware, Parallels are the names I found) and install Windows on it.)

Currently I am looking at 2.7GHz with 8GB RAM. I was just wondering whether I should also get the 1TB fusion drive. Thoughts?

Thanks!

Margie

I would recommend what Apple has to say about the Fusion drives and then decide. Their primary advantage is the speed they have over conventional HD's.
