My iPhone went into recovery mode after an attempt to upgrade to iOS 8. I don't have a backup in my PC, and seems like I have to factory reset it if I want to get it out of recovery mode.
Then I found this software on Google. It claims "Directly recover files from iPhone without iPhone backup", I wonder if this is a legitimate claim?
Have anyone ever tried anything like this?

As for me, I use this iPhone data recovery software:

With this tool, I had ever successfully recovered 10+ important messages between me and my client, the messages were deleted by mistake. However, I’m afraid such tools (including the one you mentioned) won’t work if you reset your iPhone unless you have iTunes or iCloud backup of the iPhone. Generally, such tools are free to try. Why bothers to factory reset your iPhone. You can use a free way to get your iPhone out of recovery mode: download and install Dr.Fone for iOS trial version > connect your iPhone with your computer > on Dr.Fone for iOS, click 'Restart'. that's it!

I did not found the option you mentioned.
The only options i see are Recover from iOS Device, Recover from iTunes Backup File, Recover from iCloud Back File.
Where is the Restart option? Did I download the wrong software?
