Restore iphone but keep contacts?

Hi all 🙂

I'm wanting to restore my iphone completely but somehow keep my contacts. I have backed up to itunes and icloud, but it wont backup all my contacts, only about 10 of them. Is there anyway to remove my contacts, restore my iphone 4s and then just put my contacts back to the phone? I have tried deleting all data from the phone, but of course, because only a few contacts have been backed up, I cannot replace them.

I'm on Windows 8 and my phone has been recently upgraded to iOS 8 (which I hate!)

Also, if I restore my iphone completely, is there a chance it could be locked to a certain network? I've had the phone from a friend a while back and I'm on EE but I'm not sure if she was on a different network - I cant remember if I had to unlock it or not.

I've never jail broken my phone, but I did have to unlock it from O2 to EE when I first had the phone.

Yes, I'm not restoring it to get back to 7, I have issues with the battery and the technician told me to try restoring it before paying anyone to repair.

If you want a copy of your contacts that you can use as backup, download a copy of My Contacts Backup from the appstore, use it, it will email the backup file to your Mac, you can restore it later.

If the phone has been jailbroken to unlock it for the use with a different provider, the phone will most likely be locked again after you restored the software.
