scrolling down to bottom of list of contacts

I wanted to search for my Yahoo email password which I had stored in my phone. When I searched for Yahoo in my Contacts, it appears at the bottom of the list. However, I cannot scroll down to it as the screen keeps springing back when I scroll it down. Please advise.

Three years later, and this is still happening to me!

Searched my Contacts app for a specific street name (looking for my neighbors), and after scrolling to the bottom of the search results, the last three are off the bottom of the screen. If I hold my finger on the screen and drag up, I can see them, but when I let go, they spring back down off the bottom of the screen, so I can't open them. I can find them other ways, but this is very maddening!

Using an iPhone 7 Plus. Many many contacts in my address book.

This does not happen, when I use the Contacts tab in the Phone app. That's a great workaround, but what the heck is going on with the contacts app?

Well I did and even with search parameters I can scroll(no matter how long the list is....).

But try this:

1) double click your home button and kill the app in App Switcher. Then restart your phone.

2) if step 1 did not work. Go to your contacts app click groups and hide all contacts. Then press done. Click on group again and show all contacts again.

But since i do not experience the same problems I can not offer you a true solution for your problem.
