Jul 29, 2015 6:42 AM in response to piccianoby gsolo516,I would venture to bet that Apple is not only aware that their bloated requirements set for ios8 completely cripples iPad2s, but that they are quite fine with this as it may induce some of their loyal customers to buy a newer model.
Absolute power corrupts absolutely, and Apple appears to have become too big for their britches.
Soon, given their current behavior and overall attitude towards their customers even the most loyal customers will begin to let their feet do their talking.
BTW,... I am sick and tired of seeing their "Designed in California" Jedi BS on their product packaging. These products are all manufactured in offshore Chinese sweat shops.
Hey Apple, you didn't become successful by screwing with your customers,... and you will not continue to be successful if you keep this up.

Jul 29, 2015 6:48 AM in response to gtwscwby gsolo516,Fix the performance issues OR stop making it impossible to roll back to an earlier version of IOS.
Your arrogance and lack of regard for the hands that are feeding you is truly stunning!

Jul 29, 2015 7:02 AM in response to Jibtrimby gsolo516,so if what you say is true, and Apple really cares about iPad2 owners that why wouldn't they allow them to roll back to an earlier, less hw demanding version of IOS?
An observation that I have made is that Microsoft, at the height of their abusive monopolistic heyday behaviors had absolutely nothing on Apple these days.
