Looks like iOS 8.0.1 broke my ability to make a phone call and touch ID on my iPhone 6+. Hope there is an iOS 8.0.2 in the next few hours.
Same Here! US, AT&T, iPhone 6+ 64GB. I found a link to download iOS 8.0 IPSW but iTunes will not allow me to restore to previous version! I'm now stuck not being able to make or receive calls! And NO Touch ID!!
GET THIS FIXED NOW APPLE or you're gonna have the Biggest Revolt Ever on your hands!!

Same here. Updated my 64GB iPhone 6 to iOS 8.1 and lost cell service and touch id. I'm on Verizon in the San Antonio TX area.
Thanks for making my phone completely useless as an actual phone, Apple. Way to fail.

yup same here. updated to 8.01 with iphone 6 on ATT. NO SERVICE. waiting on apple to fix this stupid issue. should have never released this update w/o full proofing it.

Verizon iPhone 6 - No Service and No Touch ID. For someone that uses their phone for business this is extremely frustrating! Come on Apple!
Same here. My iPhone 6 128Gb on the Three network (UK) can no longer connect to cellular and Touch ID is not functioning.
