iOS 8.0.1 no service and no touch id

Same here, 6 Plus on Verizon... No service nor touch ID. Hey Apple, at least have enough sense to pull the update from the servers *face palm*.

Restore from local backup. Not finished yet. But Network and TouchID work .

Full restore from backup also fixed TouchID.

After updating the software through iTunes, I was notified that a carrier update was available, which I did. Maybe that's part of the problem?

Problems confirmed after updating to 8.0.1 on my iPhone 6 Plus. 😢

1.) After touching "Add a fingerprint...", "Place Your Finger" immediately changes to "Failed"

2.) It keeps on searching for my AT&T carrier. One hour later, still searching.

As suggested in other discussion forums, I did clean its home button, and turned off / on several times. No solution yet.

I also do not see the predicitive typing either.

128GB iPhone 6. No service or touch ID.

Also, unclear is Apple addressed the Bluetooth issue. Multiple ad nauseum threads discussing severe Bluetooth connectivity issues.

Is it true that the iPhone 6 Plus bends when keeping it in your front pocket? Normal pants not too tight. I'm about to return my iPhone 6 Plus because I don't want to risk having to pay for a deposit to buy a new one through ATT. I think I might have to just switch back to my iPhone 5

iPhone 6, 64GB, AT&T, USA. No TouchID, No Cellular. Tried resetting network settings, tried a hard reboot, tried powering down. No luck. On hold with Apple Support Chat now.
