just updated to iOS 8.0.1 on my iPhone 6 64GB, mobile carrier is T-Mobile in Germany. Since the update I lost the mobile network entirely, it shows "no network". Reading some news sites in Germany, there seem to be others with the same problem. With 8.0 everything worked fine...
On my iPad3 4G the update worked fine, same on the iPhone 4S (both also with T-Mobile)

Apple Support is looking into this issue. They seem like they don't know what is going on with the 8.0.1 update

Apple Support had me do a Settings > General > Reset > Reset network setting
Still not working.

iPhone was set up new without any Backups.
sprint 64GB iphone 6...no network and no touch ID here either...regretting switching from my HTC One.
also, bluetooth doesn't work in my car...the music streaming yes, but phone calls no.
WiFi stops working after awhile and then I have to restart the phone...jeez!!
Read about the issues on different technology sites. Glad I read those and haven't updated yet.
you can downgrade to iOS 8 for limited time so if u want the problem to be fixed then this should fix it
No carrier and no Touch ID here either. iPhone 6 Plus. UK, Orange network. 😢

Have you tried doing a Hard Reset? Hold down the 'Home' and 'Sleep/Wake' buttons for 5 seconds till the phone turns off. Then hold down the 'Sleep/Wake' button to turn it back on.
See if that works?

same here on iPhone 6. How do we roll back? i need by phone desperately!
that won't help it has to do with the iOS 8.0.1 update so there is no way to fix it other than restoring it back to iOS 8

Until now iOS 8.0 ist still valid for installation.
Cell again, Touch ID again!
Thank you apple for 1 hour of work.
The whole option where to select your carrier is gone. Hard reset did not fix it.
T-Mobile, 128 GB, iPhone 6, iOS 8.0.1 Update via iTunes/Laptop.
Touch Id works and Phone service is 100% working for me before and after update.
Update process around 5-10 minutes using this method.
