Bluetooth an airdrop problem

I dont know its a software or hardware issue but i wanna tell because maybe you can find a solution. Problem is, i cant find an airdrop connection. I mean i'am oppening airdrop for everyone and asking from the person who i wanna connect to open his airdrop. But i cant find him. İt goes to bluetooth too. I cant find any device via bluetooth or airdrop. So i'am asking you is there chance it could be a software problem? Or am i have to bring to genius bar?
