I really hate this and i have sent various reviews about this situation but they’re not doing anything about it at all and it’s been 3 ios updates since. can we just go back to the days when photos are stored normal in my photo library without the blurring and the exclamation point in the corner. Please, someone say something about this issue, it’s really getting my nerves, i hate it

Three Fix for Unable to Share Pictures

The first method is the easiest one and many who were facing this issue, report that this method worked for them.

1st Solution

  1. First goto settings of your iPhone.
  2. Click on your name.
  3. Now click on iCloud.
  4. Photos.
  5. After which turn off iCloud Photo Library and turn it on again.
  6. When you turn it off, choose “Remove from iPhone”.

After you turn off library and remove it . And again sing in back , immediately you may not see all the photos. But don’t worry it will take little time and after that you will get all the photos as well you will find that your sharing is working. This method worked for 90% people facing the issue.

2nd Solution

The second method is simple but little painful. All you need to do is simply , shut off Find My Phone then remove and reload iphotos. It might solve the problem.

3th Solution

I consider this fix as the best solution if it works for you as it doesn’t involve any risk to your photos or to your phone. But many report that this method is not working. Anyway you can give it a try, if above solution are not working for you.

  1. First visit General settings.
  2. After which click on Accessibility.
  3. Then Reduced mention.
  4. Turn it off, if it is on and if it is already off , try turning it on.
  5. Try again in few minutes to share and it might work for you.

I encountered the similar problem of unable to share some photos. I was notified of my lack of storage space on the cloud for a while now as I had the 50GB storage plan.

First thing I tried was to log out and log back into Icloud on my iphone. This didn't work as I realised I lost over 5000 photos!!! I then decided to pay for the 200GB iCloud storage plan and waited to see if some miracle occurred. While waiting I searched on Apple Support for further help and noticed they mentioned once you are signed into ICloud all your photos and videos are saved. You can also access them via a web browser. So i went on my pc and logged into ICloud.com and as stated all my photos and videos were there!!!

I eventually went back to my phone and all my photos and videos came back and I was able to share them.

It may be that increasing the ICloud storage plan helped but all my photos and videos were present on the cloud via ICloud.com on my pc.

One more thing, I was also using google photos to backup my photos and videos. While backing up on the app it notified me of some photos and videos did not back up. This was how I found out I could not share some photos which led me to investigate.

Hope this helps someone.

(1) Turn off wifi ...........(2) Go to Settings............ (3) Select General............ (4) Scroll to bottom and select reset. (5) Your phone will now turn off and then, after a minute, turn back on...........(6) Turn off wifi. (You will have to add the wifi password again.) It should work. Just talked to Apple help on the phone and this worked for me.

I did this. You have to delete everything from your phone in order to do this...I signed back in. All my 4000 precious photos and videos are gone. I have 40 and they’re just from the last couple of days. I’m heartbroken. This is ********. Apple needs to figure out why we had this issue and fix it so this doesn’t happen again.

I had this problem as well and have determined that the problem is in icloud. If your photos have not been completed uploaded to icloud or vice versa from icloud to your device you will receive that error. It is possible that your phone may not be uploaded because of photo or video size etc and your device is trying to save your data. It will transfer directly when in wifi though. It can be because of data etc but without going through your settings there is no way to know for certain which is the problem. Here is the semi quick fix that worked for me.

Turn off "Icloud photo library" in settings>photos>remove from phone.

This will temporarily cause multiple if not all pictures to be removed from the device. DON'T PANICK! Those pictures that were removed from the phone have been uploaded to icloud and are not lost.

Now turn the icloud photo library back on (I had "Optimize Iphone Storage" set to On.)

Now unless you have a plan with unlimited data, your phone will pause until you are back on wifi but you can force it to begin without. If you elect to wait, simply login to wifi at your next available time and it will begin to redownload all photos. The error message will then subside and you can begin sharing again like normal.

Agreed it is a huge hassle that this happens but it is due to data usage and Apple programming your device to not allow excessive overage without consent. - Just my opinion. Good luck and hope this helps!
