Dropped calls and low signal strength on upgrade to ios 8

I have an iphone 4S and iphone 5. Recently i upgraded to ios 8 on my iphone 5. Both my phones have

the same service operator Airtel in India. Post my update to ios 8 ( on iphone 5) i have observed low signal

reception and dropped calls on the phone. The other phone which is still on ios7 has no problems. Please

note that both are of the same service provider and weak signal strength due to the operator can be ruled out .

Any way to resolve the problem ? Can i revert back to ios7 to resolve the problem. Is anybody experiencing the same

problem?

iPhone 5, iOS 8

The worst system update since Apple introduced the IPhone. I can understand a bug or two in the software, but still no fix a month later... I can not make a call from my car without dropping multiple times. Apple, stop blaming the carriers and fix your software. If I were on AT&T or T-mobile, maybe, but I have never had this problem with Verizon before... This is how you lose customers. Never thought I would say it, but I'm days away from making the switch to android...

I have had cellular signal dropping out every 3-4 minutes then coming back, ever since I updated my apps as every app maker was preparing for iOS 8 launch. I have, on the advisement of Apple, updated to iOS 8 to fix the problem..............well I have updated to iOS 8.0.1, 8.0.2, and as of today iOS 8.1, and still the problem persists!!!!!

Apple so-called Genuis's have said the phone is beyond their capabilities to fix, and I would have to send it back to California to be taken apart at the cost of £158/$250!!!

Apple say they wont replace the phone cause the phone is 18 months old, and it was sold to me by O2 (Telefonica), so I should go back to O2 for a replacement phone under the EU Directive 1999/44/EC Consumer Law Act, but O2 say its doesn't lie with them, it is Apple's responsibility to replace the phone under the directive.

So I have 6 months left on my contract, with a phone I can't receive phone calls, miss text messages, and that is essentially a very expensive paper weight, absolute joke!!!!
