Hi, I´m looking for an adapter that convert the old iPod 30-pin to the latest 30-pin for iPhone 4 so I can recharge the phone. Does those exist?

Sorry but you only partially correct. While the dock connecter is the same the charging pins were change from the original and older docks and cords will not charge newer devices. The original iPods used firewire to charge on a 12v pin in the 30 pin connecter. The newer device charge through usb on a different pin in the 30 pin connecter. For accessories (docks, car cables, etc.) you must have an adapter that converts the 12v firewire to 5v usb and apply it to the correct pin. There ARE adapter that do this and are still available.

This I can recharges in my cars connector but not my iPhone 4. I can still play music through the phone. Few years back theres an adapter you can put on the connector that fix the problem. I can´t find that adapter on the internet any more. Guess its not manufacture any longer.

Look, I'm sorry to say this to you, but Csound1 is right; there is only one charger for all iProducts such as the iPod and the iPhone prior to the release of the iPhone 5. If you got both your iPhone and your iPod before the iPhone 5 was released, then the charger should work on both. The only problem there might be is if one of your devices' charging hole is broken/clogged up with gunk, or your charging lead is broken. Just try buying another regular 30 pin lead and see if that solves your problems. If not, you might need to take your device somewhere to be fixed.

Instead of been impolite you can give me an ide why I can´t charges my phone through the same connector. And if you don´t know any ide, don't post anything on this thread. Stpd

Enough of this

There is no adaptor available or needed, take your car, your phone and yourself to the car dealership and ask them to do it for you.

And if you think that the truth is 'impolite' you have other things to deal with!

Hey, I am looking for the same adapter. (bit late this reaction) But: The old 30-pin connectors use a fire wire protocol to charge. The new 30-pin connectors use a usb protocol to charge. Old accessoires (like my car) are only capable of charging whit the firewire protocol. Where the new accessories are capable of charging using both, the usb and the firewire protocol.

Radtech had sold these adapters, bit these are out of stock now.

B.t.w. These things, the culture and the dumb people (like you) are the reason that my iPod touch was the first and last Apple product that i bought.
