Q: This download does not work!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The zip file does not appear when you hold shift and click check for update.   Extracted it and the folders just keep opening - there is no update button.

 

OMG apple you have really let me down!!!!!!

Extract the file (unzip it) to find the ipsw contained inside. Then browse to the ipsw file from iTunes.. Alternately use Chrome or Firefox to download the file as an ipsw file . IE saves it as a zip file.
