Since updating to IOS 8 Yahoo Mail is not working

- Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost

Reset iOS device: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at

least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.

- Go to Settings>Mail Yahoo and delete the account. Note that messages on the iPod will be deleted unless you are using a paid Yahoo account since the the free account is POP3

I am having the exact same problem. I did what you said and the sent mails now can be seen on my iPad, but I'm still unable to see my new emails or any other emails in my inbox. Could you help me please? Thank you very much. 🙂

I followed the instructions and now I do not have any emails since mid-August. I have to check email often as that I how I receive work, and sometimes I must respond quickly, or the order goes to another vendor. I have lost 4 jobs in past two days when relying on my iphone for email. Text messaging is delayed also.

thank you ! i had the same problem on both my wife`s ipad and mine. I reset the ipad as you instructed and problem solved; email now working on both.

Try deleting and re-adding your Yahoo account manually. Worked for me.

I have to do this at least once a week now. It has become a pain in the rear so I am now considering other options.

My Yahoo mail isn't working properly since I've gotten my 6 plus. it keeps showing that I have messages but no new ones populate. Sometimes they do but most of the time they don't. Also sometimes when they show up and i click to open them I get an error message telling me that the content was not downloaded and it won't come up at all. I've rebooted my phone, erased and reentered my email and I'm still having the same issues. It ***** because I've missed a few very important emails because of this nonsense.

I tried doing that and it doesn't even give a POP option anymore ... it's the same screen as it is when i click on the yahoo image ... 😟

Combined inbox wasn't working for Yahoo - tried deleting, reinstalling, resetting, etc.

Tried IMAP manual install - still no go. No errors, just no email.

Finally works going old school - add manual using POP. Lose a little functionality, but gain all the emails back again in the combined inbox.

Worked for me, hope it does others, too.

What is old school? None of the examples worked for me either. I need step by step if you can.
