Sep 28, 2014 2:27 AM in response to ggomulinby gantenbein15,WIth 8.0.2. installed and the IPAD 2 rebooted the "no service" problem seemed to be solved, until this morning "no service" was back. It seems that the solution of the problem is not stable yet. After "power off" and "power on" I was connected again. Thus it seems to work, but in a way that is far from my expectations.

Sep 29, 2014 10:26 AM in response to hawthornejmby creditunion123,
I tried this and it worked for me - at least I still had settings this morning so it lasted over nightIpad 2. Has the 8.0.2 update
I went to Settings > Cellular > Cellular Data Network I hit reset settings - I hit it about 3 times
Then I went to Settings > Carrier Turned off automatic and manully chose Telus.
I may have turned off Automatic prior to hitting reset - I cant remember as I have tried so many things.
this morning I checked and Telus was still showing in the top corner. Fingers crossed

Sep 30, 2014 12:33 AM in response to jmca810by LordBrixton,Tried. All of these solutions are temporary fixes. iOS 8 is, as far as I'm concerned a wreck. It breaks 3G, it breaks Newsstand, and it runs like a dog.

Sep 30, 2014 3:10 AM in response to hawthornejmby vinimdi,I'm worried if Apple is aware about this problem. I hope they fix soon as possible.
