Q: Trackpad

HI,

i just turned on my Mac book pro after work and the trackpad is not workig properk: it is very slow and it takes forever to get it where I want it to be.. This morgen when I left for work everything was working fine. I installed the latest Mac os X version 10.9.5 two days ago. Can anyone please help me!!!

First I would recommend taking a look at this article: Trackpad or Magic Trackpad is jumpy or erratic

You may also consider trying an SMC reset: Intel-based Macs: Resetting the System Management Controller (SMC)

Are you using any kind of external mouse, trackpad, or keyboard that would be causing any type of interference? Did you use any kind of cleaning material on your Mac recently?

Thanks for your answer coander15!
I Checked out the article you recommended but nothing applies. I tried cleaning the trackpad with glass cleaner as they recommend but it didn't help.
I'm not using any external device.
By now I've tried to turn the Mac book off but it didnt help either
