Q: I am trying to purchase an album with my iTunes gift card balance but it keeps asking me for my card information. How do I get the payment option to only use the gift card?

I've been trying to use the gift card since I purchased my

iPod. I previously had an iPhone 4 that I made an App Store purchase with my debit card. Now that I've redeemed the gift card, every time I try to purchase something, it takes me to my card information. This is getting really frustrating because there is nothing allowing me to disable the payment option. Help please!

Change or remove your payment information from your iTunes Store account (Apple ID)

Should you be unable to do so, we've an article that details potential reasons for such and can be indicative of the reason for the iTunes Store's prompts for billing information.
