    Hello Dga22,

The steps detailed below may help get your iPhone and iPad printing to your AirPrint printer again.

    1. Make sure your printer has paper, and enough ink or toner installed.
    2. Make sure your printer is connected to the same Wi-Fi network as your iOS device.
    3. Make sure your printer has power and is turned on. Try turning your printer off and then back on again to see if it resolves your issue.
    4. Check to see if your printer has any error lights or indicators displayed on the printer's control panel. Check the documentation that came with your printer to clear any errors displayed.
    5. Check with your printer's manufacturer to see if any firmware updates are available for your printer. Check your printer's documentation or contact the printer vendor for more information. A firmware update may be available, even if you just bought your printer.

Allen, please stop this nonsense: we all know that the problem has nothing to do with printers not being plugged in our being out of paper. It has everything to do with iOS 8. Most of these airprint complaints are on systems that worked perfectly well on iOS 7.

Thank you for your reply to allen.  I am not an idiot and everything is correctly installed!  I updated my iPad to iOS 8.0.2 and the AirPrint is now working.  I will wait to update my iPhone just in case something else fails.  Should have stayed with iOS 7!

Hi Dga22, glad to hear that 8.0.2 solved the problem fpr you. This hasn't been the case with Samsung printers which are still proving to be a problem. I spoke with Samsung on Friday and they aware, but it may take some time to resolve.
