Hello barrett915,

It sounds like you are not able to use your Apple TV becuase the light keeps flashing, even after you restored it with iTunes. It sounds like you have done all the appropriate troubleshooting from the following article, but I would recommend doublechecking the info within:

Apple TV (2nd and 3rd generation): Troubleshooting power issues

Check the indicator light on the front of your Apple TV.

If there's no light on the front of your Apple TV, follow these steps:

  • Inspect the Apple TV power cord for any sign of wear, strain, charring, or other damage.
  • Unplug the Apple TV power cord from your Apple TV. Wait thirty seconds, then plug it back in.
  • Plug the Apple TV power cord into a different power outlet or power strip.
  • Try using a different Apple TV power cord, if you have one.
  • Try to restore your Apple TV from your computer.

If you still see the issue after following these steps, contact Apple Support or take your Apple TV to the nearest Apple Store.
