I found the experience of NOT pressing the home button is cool when I turn the display on and login my iphone 6.
But still I need to use assistive touch virtual home to go back home when using an application.
I think it would be good to to all users by use fingerprint to go back home whenever they are using an app.

Scenario: You are in the iTunes store and you purchase an album. iTunes asks you to enter your Apple ID password or to log in with your fingerprint. You choose the latter. OOPS! you just switched out of the app.
Why do you need to use assistive touch to back home. The home button does not work any different than it did before Touch ID, it just adds Touch ID for unlocking purposes. When in an app, you tap the home button and it takes you back to the home screen.
How about itune disable "this back home" function, whenever itune asking fingerprints for password? Will the scenario be solved?
It would, but then every app that uses fingerprints for authentication (an iOS 8 feature) would have to be aware of this. I don't see any inconvenience in pressing the button.
How about add an option to use fingerprint as home button?
