Ok so we know how BADLY 8.1s performance was but I'm still a 7.2.1 user and I haven't upgraded YET but now that I checked my iPad mini says that 8.2 has been released and it fixes everything 8.1 caused so I did some searching and I found nothing yet so I just wanna know upgrade to see what happens or leave it to good ol'7.2.1.

Yes, it's working great. 2 hrs and no problems to report other than a couple little things Do it, get your life back 🙂
Go down to the Apple Store, look at IOS 8 then decide. Remember upgrading is a one way street.

It's been working fine for me *except* all of my previous Health app data that auto generates (like steps taken, flights climbed and distance traveled) have all reset to 0 for any previous days.
If you don't use this, probably not a big deal.
Then you won't know if you will prefer it until you update then it's too late to change your mind.
ooops. sorry. I see you're not using the health data, because that is a part of 8.0.
DOn't drive down to the storee and look at it 😉. Just do it.
Or, if you're cautious, give it 48 hours. A good chunk of the world isn't awake to install it so wait and see what other experiences you see.
However, don't let this forum be your sole source simply because it's skewed to be populated by people having issues.

Do you have a friend with IOS 8 ? You wouln't buy a car without first looking at it, there's no difference here.

All I'm trying to do is prevent buyers remorse. You might take one look at IOS 8 and love it or you might hate it. If you update first it doesn't matter, you're stuck with it. If you have already made up your mind to upgrade go for it. I'm at IOS 8.0.2 already and having no problems.

I would not upgrade at this stage if you haven't already done so.
iOS 8, so far, doesn't seem ready for PrimeTime for iPad 2 and 3 with the A5 generation processors.
I am waiting it out until the release of iOS 8.1.
I reccommend you wait it out until then, also.

Do you have an iPad Mini or a full size iPad 2?
I would try the update for the iPad Mini, if you so choose, but I would hold off from updating an iPad 2.
Still buggy on iPad 2 and 3.
Now that iOS 8.2 is out should I download?
