Sep 27, 2014 4:28 PM in response to MCiccaroneby EagleFox,I had this issues with my iPhone 6 plus but that was before the update to 8.0.2. What I did to fix it is I went to AT&T and had my SIM card replaced. This enabled my account to reset. I will go to AT&T store again for my 5S and see if it'a going to fix this issue even if I'm not sure that it could be related to the latest update. It's worth a try.

Sep 28, 2014 5:51 PM in response to EagleFoxby sr8der,I'm having this problem too. I think I need to go back to OS7 with my Iphone 5 until ATT fixes this issue. When searching to see if anyone else had this issue I found this forum and thread, but I also found one from when they upgraded Iphone 4 to 5. At that time their were people who were posting about the same problem I'm having now- Since upgrading my Iphone 5 to OS 8.0.2, I have trouble with connecting with LTE on ATT network.

Sep 28, 2014 5:57 PM in response to sr8derby MCiccarone,I had my sim card replaced by AT&T and continue to have this LTE issue...or lack of LTE. The AT&T guy even went as far to say that maybe my phone is just showing 4G but is really on LTE. Right, because you can't tell a differencd in speed. What a dumb *** statement. Hope Apple gets this fixed ASAP I'm not paying $80 a month for dial up.

Sep 28, 2014 6:08 PM in response to rbrylawskiby MCiccarone,They supposedly did that when they changed the SIM.

Sep 28, 2014 6:14 PM in response to rbrylawskiby ChadDDS,I am having the same problem with my iPhone 5S and my wife's 4S with iOS 8.0.2 on verizon. It is defiantly a iOS 8 problem. Has any one come up with a solution? I have tried all the restarts, I will initially get lte back, but only for a minute or less.

Sep 28, 2014 6:16 PM in response to MCiccaroneby rbrylawski,Well, supposedly and actually doing could be two different things. I friend of mine had trouble connecting to LTE. After multiple AT&T calls, it was finally determined the SSID and IMEI didn't match on his phone. That could certainly be an issue you might want to check. If they don't match, you won't get LTE until AT&T makes the appropriate adjustment on their side.

Sep 28, 2014 6:17 PM in response to ChadDDSby MCiccarone,i just took the SIM from my friend's iPhone 6 and popped it into my phone and amazingly my phone showed with was connected to LTE. Switched back to my sim and 4g only. Definitely seems like an AT&T issue.

Sep 28, 2014 7:05 PM in response to EagleFoxby sarahwi,iPhone 5: just updated to 8.0.2 a couple days ago and now I am unable to connect to cellular Sprint service. Sat on Sprint chat forever with no resolution, but I'm guessing it has something to do with this new update. anyone else having problems with 5's and the new update with cellular connectivity?? Any chance I can go back to the 8.0.1 update?

Sep 28, 2014 7:11 PM in response to sarahwiby MCiccarone,Welcome to the club. Seems like that update impacted a bunch of users. I went back to 8.0 Gold Master and still had the same problem. I think the issue is the "carrier update" that goes along with the update. At least this is the case for AT&T. And they've been less then helpful to resolve the issue.

Sep 29, 2014 3:54 PM in response to EagleFoxby Witchy_Biker,I don't believe that it's just an AT&T issue... I'm with Verizon and I've been having the same issue with not being able to get back to LTEervice... And when the phone is powered back on, or reset from being on Airplane Mode, it takes forever for the LTE to reappear... I have an iPhone 5 and the 8.0.2 software...

Sep 29, 2014 3:56 PM in response to EagleFoxby MCiccarone,So after going back and forth with AT&T all weekend, we've finally resolved the issue. Apparently, AT&T removed LTE service from the services on my account so my phone would only connect to 4G. AT&T had to add LTE data service back to my account before my phone would reconnect.
