Q: I updated my iPhone 5S and my iPad to the latest iOS 8.0.2. However, now my phone does not respond, it only has an Apple logo and flashes blue. I had to end up completely restoring my iPad as well due to the 8.0.2. Anyone else have problems?

i have updated all devices in home right now to ios8.0.2 no one has complained , me either

Try resetting the iPhone: Hold down the Home and Power buttons at the same time and continue to hold them down until the Apple appears (up to 30 seconds). If the reset is successful, the "Slide to Unlock" screen will redisplay when it is complete.

If you are able to reset, check Settings>About to see what version number is showing. It is is still 8.0, hook your iPhone up to iTunes on the computer you sync with and update from there.

Well, you are probably going to have to try to restore it, then. Follow Step 5 in this link, and click on the further link to force into Recovery mode if hooking up to iTunes doesn't help:

Restart, Reset, Restore

Hi, to fix the Apple logo of death, you can try this

Step 1. Make sure that the latest iTunes is installed on your computer.

Step 2. Plug into a USB cable to connect your iPhone to computer.

Step 3. Press and hold the Home button and the Sleep/Wake button at the same time for about 10s.

Step 4. 10 seconds later, release the sleep/wake button. But continue to hold the home button until a message comes out, saying "iTunes has discovered an iPhone in recovery mode, you must restore this iPhone before it can be used with iTunes".

Step 5. Click your iPhone in the left sidebar to show the device control panel on the right. Then, click Summary.

Step 6. Go to Backups section and click Restore Backup.... In the drop-down list, choose a backup file and restore to your iPhone

Try this, and your iPhone will back to normal.
