I just received an SMS saying that iTunes charged me over some app I did not purchase. It was also not in my purchase history. Am i being hacked? please help!

The unusual charging started when I downloaded iOS 8!!! First they charged me 1 AED (equivalent to 0.27 $) which is totally fine. But today they charged me 17.99 AED (almost 5$) over an app i did not purchase!!! Can i be hacked? I already removed my card details on my iTunes to stop this but how can I trace which app charged me and of course get my money back if possible?! Please help!! Appreciate it!

iPhone 5s, iOS 8

The 1 AED may have been a temporary store holding charge - if it is then it should disappear off your account within a few days or so.

Store holding charge : http://support.apple.com/kb/HT3702

have you received any email receipts for the 17.99 (if the 1 is a temporary holding charge then you won't get a receipt for it from iTunes) ? And you didn't have any pre-orders or auto-renewing subscriptions due : http://support.apple.com/kb/HT6006 ?

If the charge is not on your account (and you only have the one account with the card on) then you should contact your card issuer. If it is on your account but you don't recognise it then you could contact iTunes Support : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/ - click on Contact iTunes Store Support on the right-hand side of the page, then Purchases, Billing & Redemption
