After upgraded to iOS8.0.2, iPad2 still have 'no service,' problem.
Still same problem even upgraded to iOS 8.0.2. To rectify, need to restart device. But, for one day, need to restart about 3 to 4 times. Huhu

(A) Try reset iPad
Hold down the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button at the same time for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears
(B) Try reset all settings
Settings>General>Reset>Reset All Settings

After my continuing horrible experience with ios8 , I'm afraid to install 8.0.2.
Beyond the reset, send Apple feedback and let them know. They can't work on a fix until they know something is wrong
HI Diavonex.
so much thanks 🙂
i used B method, and until now, problem has gone.
thanks again ya 🙂
You are most welcome 🙂
Thank you for your feedback.
I Agree, im also afraid to do snything, except maybe a total restore then re update. I am so angry that apple allowed ipad2 users to go with this upgrade, they should have warned clearly that it might prove to be too much.
IVe been dont Ng the hard reset for a week and it doesn't make me ch difference. Cellular keeps dropping out.
but
just did the 'reset all settings' under settings, general
and things are good..... Cellular works....system is faster....I'll see how it goes for a couple of days.....but might be worth trying if you are having problems......
So reset doesn't work either....nor 8.0.2 ......still drops cellular.....this is garbage
NNever upgrade
I Have ipad 1st generation still works like new, because I never upgraded, with every upgrade you're mesing up you're system and that's what appl wants,so you have to buy a new one.i upgraded my iPad 3 now slow freezing and shouts down, and you can't do anything abouth it,you have to buy a new one,no ressetin or anything will help,
so if like the way you'r iPhone or iPad is working don't never UPGRADE
Hi Diavonex, I tried both A and B on a number of occasions. The iPad is fine for a short period and then the problem reappears. This is very frustrating.
Try turning off FaceTime in settings, it seems to be working for me. I have the same cellular provider on my iPhone and the number listed in FaceTime settings on my iPad2 was the iPhone number wich might be confusing for the ios(?)
Not for me. I have tried
A reset network settings
B 8.0.2 update
C turne off facebook integration
still exactly the same. Cellular drops out 4 or 5 times a day. Only comes back after hard reset. This is terrible.
no word from Apple.
i have advised all my users to stick with ios7
Tried resetting all and hard restart. Still getting "No Service". Come on apple. Fix this crap. So disappointing.
