Oct 8, 2014 5:30 AM in response to Jeep4Lifeby Mightymouse19th,Ok, this is my 2nd iPhone 128GB Plus, Ive just had yet another lengthy discussion (this time with George in Ireland) senior engineer for Apple Support.
Stay with me on this, last night I reset my phone again to factory settings to hopefully restore my wifi stability issues at home. George has checked and stated my phone has not been restored since 9th September!!!! (before the phone was released to the public). Factory resetting the phone without it being plugged into iTunes is not a true factory reset.
Anyway I've restored my phone back to factory settings via the lead into iTunes, set it up as a new phone!
then when you sign into your iCloud account on the phone you'll get all your contacts, notes back etc etc back.
I'm going to leave the phone in this state until i get home this evening and will reconnect it to my home network... if it's stable, I'll load back my apps from my purchased items.... here's hoping. If anyone else has already tried this way then please do let me know

Oct 8, 2014 7:42 AM in response to joeshongby phillyfella,This release by Apple was not ready for prime time. I'm having the same issue on my Ipad-Air and my wife's Ipad. A partial fix is to turn off completely and re-start but this is a royal pain. Apple needs to get this mess cleaned up -- quickly.

Oct 8, 2014 8:04 AM in response to Jeep4Lifeby Briansyddall,Turn off your Router for 30 seconds. Go to settings on iPhone bottom of page press reset After reset you need to enter your Router Wireless key. This may solve your wifi problems JUST DO THE RESET DONOT SET BACK TO FACTORY SETTINGS. Oct 8, 2014 8:58 AM in response to Jeep4Lifeby Lvelman,FINALLY...
I was able to resolve BOTH the Bluetooth AND the WiFi issues I was having with iOS 8.0.2 (iPhone 6). Here's how:
Bluetooth:
1. On your iPhone, go to Settings->Bluetooth and "Forget" the device you've been trying to pair with.
2. On your iPhone, go to Settings->iCloud->ShareMyLocation, expand "From", make sure "iPhone - This Device" is checked and <swipe left to erase> all other devices you no longer use. Exit, go back in and see if the changes are saved.
3. On your iPhone, go to Settings->iCloud and "Sign Out" of iCloud on your iPhone (make sure you don't have any important files from documents or apps that you're afraid of losing)
4. On your iPhone, go to Settings->iCloud and re-add iCloud to your iPhone following the proper procedure. Afterwards, make sure the settings you configured in step #2 are still the same. If they're not, set them again.
5. On your computer, go to icloud.com and login. Click on "Find my iPhone". At the top of the screen, click on "All Devices" and make sure the list represents ONLY those devices you still use. To remove those that you don't use anymore, click on them, and then choose the appropriate option to remove that device.
6. Turn your iPhone off and on.
7. Try to re-pair your bluetooth and use it.
WiFi:
- Just make sure you are using WPA not WEP security on the router you're connecting to. That solved it for me and no issues since.
I'm sure the next iOS update will address these issues but until then, I hope this works!
BTW, I'm entirely loyal to Apple, I love what they do and how they operate, and I have full confidence in them fixing these issues very soon! Hang in there!

Oct 8, 2014 3:02 PM in response to Briansyddallby janie_burmy,It's not just maintaining wifi for me, it's finding the wifi in the first place. Really really slow to find networks ....and don't get me started on how poor the cell reception/ signal is on this phone.

Oct 9, 2014 12:11 AM in response to Jeep4Lifeby mkummer,My WIFI problems are meanwhile resolved: I still use 8.0.2 on both my iPhone 6 and iPad Air with the last public beta of Yosemite. I replaced my Speedport 723 V router with the newer model 724 V which has high speed WLAN ac and both 2,4 and 5 GHz. I changed to the 5 GHz option with fastest connection and now my WLAN is rock solid. It seems, Apple has problems with „older“ hardware. As I heard, 8.1 which should appear with Yosemite next week should resolve these problems. Let’s hope so.

Oct 9, 2014 1:14 PM in response to Mightymouse19thby dorten75,Got my iPhone 6 today and seeing some of these problems.
But the main issue for me is the bad wifi signals I am getting.
I have both the new iPhone 6 and my older iPhone 5 beside each other... and the new one is not finding my networks (have two)
The old one gets good signals from both, the new iPhone 6 is getting "ok" signals from my wifi router, sitting just beside it, nut not my extended network.
Both running ios 8.0.2Other places in my house I get nothing....
Is this just me? Because I see that most refer to the staying connected problem, but I have not yet gotten into that
