copying voice recordings from an iphone

I know there's a simple knowledge base entry for how to use this Apple app here: iPod: Recording voice memos

But here's something I don't think Apple's thought of. They've given all iPhones the ability to startup and exist without it ever connecting to a PC or Mac via USB. For those of us who choose this route, any PC/Mac we attempt to connect it to will require us to wipe the entire contents of the phone and replace them with the contents of that machine's iTunes library.

So then how does one offload the Voice Recording WAV files from the iPhone without connecting it to a PC/Mac? There's no knowledge base entry for that, nor is there any explanation I can find Googling it.

Anyone have any ideas?
