Keyboard Shortcuts still not working...

since ios 8 update my shortcuts that still actually show in Settings > General> Keyboard > Shortcuts fail to pop up in QuickType or as a text suggestion when typing on my iPad Air. UNLESS I go into this setting and click on one of the shortcuts I've created and then click on Save again. If I do this it seems to reactivate The shortcuts when typing the phrases again. BUT if I reboot my iPad it forgets to use them again UNTIL I do the resave trick again.

I was hoping ios 8.02 would fix this but it hasn't for the iPad. I will say however that with iOS 8 this problem was occurring on my iPhone 5S too but this looks like it's been fixed for the iPhone with iOS 8.02... strange.
