Q: Updated to iOS 8.0.2 and cellular doesn't work

Reboot your device and this works fine for me when lost cellular service. If it doesn't work, try to reset your network settings.

I had the same problem.  In the process of downgrading to 8.0.  TouchID stopped working also.  Just like the 8.0.1 issues.

Have you looked at your Settings>General>Software Update to see if your phone actually is running 8.0.2?

I've been having a similar problem, even fresh from the factory the radio seemed to slowly lose signal then end with "No Service." Getting the same behavior with 8.0.2, though it's happening faster and I'm not getting the "Invalid SIM" error I was with 8.0. Never installed 8.0.1. This is on a 6+.

I finished a restore to 8.0 with everything working fine as before.  Ran the update again and it worked the second time.  Go figure.

I am having the same issue, after updating to 8.0.2 and resetting my network settings and restarting my phone 5S.

Everything came back on 8.0 perfectly. Ran the 8.0.2 update a second time and everything and was successful.

Was yours slowing losing network signal over time till it got "No Service?" Or was it just never working?

Worked fine out of the box on 8.0.  Only had a problem when I upgraded to 8.0.2 this morning.  It completely lost service and TouchID would not work.  Restoring back to 8.0 fixed all problems.

Had the same issue 2. Upgraded my iPhone 6 iOS 8.0.0 to iOS 8.0.2 causes lost service (no network) and TouchID would not work. Call up Apple and they requested to do a restore. I did not follow but did a downgrade back to iOS 8.0.0 then restore my backup to the iPhone. All working fine now.

You mentioned that after you had downgraded back to iOS 8.0.0, you update again to iOS 8.0.2 is it successful? Any issue?

Everything works fine after the second try at the upgrade. Been running all day and not seeing any issues.

I Have the same problem in iPhone 6, iOS 8.0.2 no calls no Touch ID -  im from portugal....
