moments preview is empty in photos.

On my iPhone 5c, all the previews are not showing up in moments,(empty boxes where there should be previews).

Years and collections show up.

When I tap on a empty moments preview, it becomes visible. But if I quit photos and reopen, the issues repeats.

This is since updating to ios8 and persists since update to 8.0.2.

Any suggestions?
