I upgraded to iOS 8.0.2 on my Sprint iPhone 6 (since the badge told me there was an update available and it was already downloaded). I am now having the same issues as people reported in iOS 8.0.1. I have No Service and my Touch ID stopped working. I tried going into Setting and resetting my Network Settings, but that didn't help. I went into Touch ID and tried to add a fingerprint, and it says "Failed. Unable to complete Touch ID setup". I guess I will try to revert to iOS 8.0.0 when I get home from work. I am in the U.S. and applied the update at around 1100 a.m. on 26 Sep.
Have you tried to restore your iPhone with iTunes?
Connect your iPhone to PC/Mac and Open iTunes. You should have a restore option there. Please remember to take backup before proceeding to Restore.
Good Luck !!!

Sep 26, 2014 10:49 AM in response to MyBlueSkyby HacimRedirk,MyBlueSky. I will give that a try when I have a computer with iTunes available. Thanks for the advice. I took a backup of my phone a couple of days ago and have iCloud turned on, but I will definitely do another backup before the restore.

Oct 5, 2014 10:19 AM in response to gdgmacguyby Maià,step 5 - upgrade to the new iOS
a pity that the problem (on ipad2) has started right after the upgrade to ios8
and that ios8.02 didn't solve anything.
is apple going to willingly ruin every device they've sold up till now
in hope that people, desperate, will buy the new hardware?
seriously, this ios has ruined my ipad, will you buy me a new one?

Oct 5, 2014 11:14 AM in response to MyBlueSkyby Maià,restore done a week ago
it just lowered a bit that damned "other" bar (now it's "just" 700MB)
the no service keeps presenting
the lag keeps lagging everywhere
some apps now crash but that's not your fault.
PS are you joking with me, saying "good luck"? If I had a massive problem like the new ios and it was my fault, I'd be working like there's no tomorrow to fix it, ashamed...

Oct 5, 2014 11:11 AM in response to Maiàby Maià,and... and...
the ipad (sorry for the bold... with ipad it won't let me turn back to normal >_>)
is a "closed" product. It HAS to work, else a customer should just turn to windows or android and fix the problem by itself. This was the policy apple has followed for years, right? The customer has not to worry.
I bought an ipad1 and apple let me down with the updates, not caring about the security problems (for example) that were fixed only from ipad2 on. not a great image apple left... and it's sad cause it had built it in years and years of hard work.
