Q: When will the bluetooth problem with ios 8.0.2 be fixed?

I bought an iPhone 6 128 GB Monday and am having problems with my ReSound Linx hearing aids. The volume drops to a low decibel and then about a munute to a minute and a half, the sound returns. I believe this is a Bluetooth problem as the hearing aids attach via bluetooth. I have seen other with bluetooth problems that say it was not fixed in ios 8.0.2. I could care less about my car bluetooth but desparately need it fixed so I can hear again!

iPhone 6, iOS 8, Resound Linx 961

I uploaded ios 8.0.2 on my iPhone 6 128 GB today 9-29-14 due to problems with Bluetooth talking to my ReSound Linx hearing aids to hopefully fix the problem. It sounds like the Bluetooth looses connection to the hearing aids and turns them off for about 1 1/2 minutes, then they come back on and I can hear again. I understand there are problems with Bluetooth and cars using the phone. I believe this Bluetooth problem is causing my hearing aid problem as my hearing aids connect to the iPhone via Bluetooth and the ReSound Smart App. I tried the reset fix, Settings>General>Reset>Reset All Settings as some have suggested but that did not resolve this issue either. I can't believe Apple is not talking about this ios 8.0.2 Bluetooth problem. This affects my everyday life in that I cannot hear when the Bluetooth drops.Try working with your hearing dropping every few minutes! If Apple wants in the Health field, I suggest they take their QA a little bit more serious than they are at present. Whomever was responsible for testing ios 8, 8.0.1 & 8.0.2 should be fired! This is causing more trouble than anyone can imagine. I understand the car - Bluetooth problem but think about the fact that if every time the Bluetooth drops, you can't hear.My job could be in jeopardy. I posted the problem to Apple Support and they will not even have the decency to respond with even a "we are sorry." How long do I have to go without being able to hear before Apple responds??????

When will Apple even talk about all the bluetooth issues? It is very apparent that Steve Jobs isn't around!

I have the Resound Linx 9 and suddenly, since going to Apple !OS 8, the sound seems to drop to next to nothing on my hearing aid. Whether streaming or listening live, I end up taking out the aid because the hearing is actually worse when it is in and the sound has dropped so low. Does anyone what's going on and what Apple and Resound are doing about it? It's affecting my work and personal life.

So glad I read your posts as I just purchased the Linx9 and haven't upgraded my iphone OS yet. I've had my own set of issues with Bluetooth breakdowns.  I work in a busy office and breakdowns like yours and my own don't help. I need to rely on my phone to manage my volume, etc. It's disappointing that no one can provide answers.

We’re sorry to hear that you’re having issues, rpsjimj. We are aware of the issues some customers have experienced with the iOS 8 updates and are working diligently to address them with Apple. Have you been able to update to iOS 8.1? Our team is currently testing to see if that update includes any fixes, but we’d be interested in hearing your experience. However, this isn’t one we’ve heard before so you may want to call our consumer support team at (888) 735-4327 and someone can help you troubleshoot at your convenience.

I have iphone 6 with resound enzo and my problem is the intermittent dropping of streaming music for 1-3 seconds at a time. Sometimes one aid, then another and every 1 or two minutes. It's like having a bad radio signal in the car. Happens when I'm walking or running. It behaves like the signal is dropping but the phones never beep off and the sound returns immediately. It's as if a noise suppressor keeps kicking in.

I have been having similar issues using my iphone6 and resound hearing aids to stream music.  Intermittent dropping of streaming music for 1-3 seconds at a time either in one hearing aid or the other. It behaves like the signal is dropping but the phones never beep off and the sound returns immediately. Very frustrating as one of the main reasons I switched to an iphone was to have this functionality.

    I am on iOS 9.2.1.
