iPhone 6 won't play on Sony Dream Machine ICF-CS15iPN

Hi folks,

Wondering if anyone else encountered this?

My new iPhone 6 with iOS8 was playing just fine on my Sony Dream Machine with a 30 pin to lightning adapter.

Now that I've upgraded to iOS 8.0.2, it won't play.

Work around is that I have an old iPod touch (2nd gen) and it plays just fine.

I've tried testing the iPhone 6 to Dream Machine but it just lights up the iPhone and does nothing and the iPhone just goes back to sleep.

Any help is appreciated.

I'm not sure if this is a fix, but I just tried this.

I played a song without anything attached the the iPhone, paused then docked it to the Dream Machine and pressed play on it and it started playing.

Test with Alarm function and it works. We'll see later tonight when I have time to do an more in depth test. If it works, then I'll mark this as answered.
