I just downloaded iOS8.02 and when I sync through ITunes from IPhoto the events do not sync in proper order? Any suggestions?

There is no control over the order of events when syncing in iOS 8. They will be arranged by date and not by title.
A caution. if you want syncing with iTunes, do not enable "iCloud Library (Beta)" on your iPad, if your iOS version supports it. This will disable syncing with iTunes and you will have no way to upload photos to your iPad.
