iPhone delivered to post office physical address?

Sorry if this is in the wrong section. I couldn't decide where it belongs.

Some time ago, the US Postal Service began receiving packages that normally couldn't be delivered to a P.O. box. This is done by putting the physical address of the post office, along with your P.O. box number as the "unit number." I have done this many times without problems in the past. I recently ordered my iPhone (AT&T) through the Apple website with the Post Office address using the method described above. It has shipped via UPS, and I'm hoping this won't be a problem. Has anyone done this before? Is it possible/necessary to pre-sign and give the paper to the Post Office before delivery? Or do I sign for it when I get my phone from the Post Office? There is an option to change the address on the UPS website for $5. I'm wondering if that would be the best option. Thanks in advance!

All experience I have had is that it is required to sign before it will be dropped off, that means you cannot come in sometime later and sign. Apple has also said they will not deliver to a Post Office Box, it must be a physical address.

When it ships, check and see if there is a pre-sign button, from which you can pre-sing electronically or download a form to fill out and sign so the driver can leave the purchase for you.

Thanks Moe.

Apple's delivery rules seem to be just suggestions thus at the mercy of the carrier or carrier's subcontractors. My phone was simply placed on top of the mail box without a signature from me. A couple hours later the delivery status was updated to delivered. Nowhere on the box did it say a signature was required so I can't really put blame on the subcontractor that delivered it. I wasn't too please and I made Apple aware of the way it was delivered.
