iOS 8.2 update and the problems it brings..

Try:

- iOS: Not responding or does not turn on

- Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode

- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.

- Try another cable

- Try on another computer

- If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

I had similar issues along with it not playing music, locking up, and closing apps. I reset everything and reinstalled the last IOS 7 update. I am back in business now with no apparent problems other than I had to start from scratch with a clean slate

I can't do anything with my iPhone because the touch screen does not work at all - the stuff on is zoomed in and I can't move it. It started with upgrading to 8.00 so I then upgraded to 8.2 (8.1 wasn't offered) yesterday. But the problems are exactly the same. What is going on?

Most things work, and I can get the internet through links, but I cannot browse through Safari. When I first upgraded to 8.00 the same thing happened and I downloaded Chrome and that worked. Now Safari isn't working in *.02 either, but I don't want to download Chrome this time as I think that might have caused 8.00 to crash. I am just managing by posting links to myself

I am having the same problems on my 5s and iPad 2 since updating to iOS 8.2. My 5s battery drains as you watch it and under normal use lasts less than a day. I have turned everything unnecessary off but it is the same and gets very hot when I use it. My iPad 2 also drains much quicker than before. It freezes and takes ages to start and flashes to a black screen all the time. It really needs Apple to take note and urgently give us a fix please.

Downgrading iOS 8 back to 7 is not longer supported by Apple.

Backing up to itunes on your computer and restoring from that backup usually helps with the lagging and crashed.

I restored twice from recovery and eventually (after 16 hrs of trying) have got most of the phone working. Just safari now not working.

Do you mean that you do not have an interent connection? I.e., other apps besides Safari that require an internet connection also do not work?

Try restoring to factory settings/new iPod if not done already

Try when connected to another network.

In the end Apple Support helped me through and Safari works fine now. It took ages though with lots of false moves

Same issues here with 8.1.3 >> 8.2

Had the same problem with an iPhone 5 (not the 5S).

Complete backup to iTunes followed by a complete restore in DFU mode solved this issue.

Battery now as good as new (or as good at it previously was).
