Thanks for trying. Sadly the issue is not that I cannot connect to my BT Home Hub 5, the issue is that the speed this ipad Mini is achieving maxes out at 7Mbps when my other ipad Mini and ipad Air gets 32Mbps, and this has only happened since iOS 8.02. There must be a bug in there but it is incredibly annoying and inconvenient.
My iPad Air keeps dropping its connection.
Very bad reflection on Apple. Hope it gets sorted by the time my 6 plus arrives.

The steps detailed below, can, indeed, help resolve issues with unexpected disconnects from Wi-Fi networks.
- Tap Settings > Wi-Fi and turn Wi-Fi off and on. If your Wi-Fi setting is dimmed, follow these steps.
- Restart your iOS device.
- Tap Settings > Wi-Fi and locate the Wi-Fi network to which you're connected.
- Tap
and Forget this Network. - Try to connect to your desired Wi-Fi network.
Note: You may need to enter your Wi-Fi password again if your network requires one. - Turn your Wi-Fi router off and on2. If your ISP also provides cable or phone service, check with them before attempting this step to avoid interruption of service.
- Update your Wi-Fi router to the latest firmware2. For AirPort Base Stations, install updates using the AirPort Utility.
