Q: My Apple TV says "Could Not Sign In Your Apple ID or password is incorrect."

There is an "OK" button, but I cannot click it. Restarting leads to the same screen.

Some background: I had been playing music through the Apple TV using my computer using home sharing. I bought something through iTunes and reset my password (on my computer). After I few hours of playing music I tried to watch a show on netflix and the Apple TV froze. I unplugged to reset (down+menu would not work). When it restarted this problem began. I closed iTunes on my computer, this also did not help.

Use an other device and chose airplay. The screen will change in the screen of your other device. You can now use your Apple TV again.

I had the same issue. Using my iPad mini 2's Apple TV remote and keyboard to enter both ID and password, I repeatedly received the error message, "Your Apple ID or password is incorrect." I also had the same problem trying to sign in to iCloud on Apple TV. Reset and power cycled Apple TV. Power cycled broadband router. Still received the same error message. Simple but unexpected solution: I finally entered the ID and password using the "keyboard" screen on the Apple TV instead of the keyboard on the iPad, laboriously scrolling back and forth through the alphabet and numbers. This input method worked for both the sign-in on iTunes and iCloud. I don't know why one keyboard works while the other doesn't but it solved my problem.

Ridiculous that this is unresolved: client had the same issue today that I resolved as you stated.
