I updated to iOS 8 on my iPhone 5c and now it won't turn on and I know it was fully charged any ideas?

Have updated my iPhone 5c to iOS 8 and restored it and now it won't turn on. I have tried plugging it in even though I know it was fully charged, I have shut down my rebooted my computer and iTunes from scratch and reconnected my phone and still nothing, any ideas?

Hello Nikmuz,

It sounds like your screen is either black so it looks like it is not on, or it is just plain not turning on at all and it is also not being recognized in iTunes. I would recommend the followng troubleshooting from this article to help you determine whether that is the case or not, named:

iPhone: Hardware troubleshooting

  1. Toggle the ringer switch to see if the unit vibrates. If it does, it could be that iPhone is getting power, but is not displaying any image.
  2. While connected to the iPhone charger, try to reset the iPhone.

My issue is still not resolved. What do I do next?
