vpn-connection problems after update to iOS 8

Hello community,

first the basics:

- iPhone 4S (Update to iOS 8.0.2)

- iPad 3 (iOS 7.1.2)

- iPad 4 (Update to iOS 8.0.2)

- Wireless-Router, all apple devices are in the same network and have static ip-addresses

- the configuration of all devices are the same (no http-proxy-server in the network settings)

"VPNOneClick" is installed on every device.

After updating to iOS 8.0.2 all vpn-connections with the iPhone 4S and the iPad 4 failed.

I got an error message, which says that "A connection is not possible. Try reconnecting and check the preferences".

I tried several servers from the VPNOneClick-Profiles but it's not possible to connect any of them.

So I deleted all profiles and installed the app again. No chance, no connection.

During the installaltion process of the vpn-profiles I got an error message which says that "The network traffic of your iPad may be secured, filtered or monitored by a VPN server".

After installing all profiles it's not possible to connect any of the vpn-servers and I got the same error:

"A connection is not possible. Try reconnecting and check the preferences".

Then I made a factory reset on the iPad 4, installed iOS 8.0.2 completely new and installed VPNOneClick first.

During the installion process of the vpn-profiles I got the same errors:

"The network traffic of your iPad may be secured, filtered or monitored by a VPN server".

For another test I added another vpn-server manually and tried to connect. No chance, no connection.

The same problem exists on my iPhone 4S with iOS 8.0.2 too. The screenshot were taken from my iPhone.

The funny thing is, that on my iPad 3 which I haven't updated to iOS 8.0.2 and this device is still running on 7.1.2, VPNOneClick is running without any problems.

Adding an other vpn-server (profile) manually is possible too and the connection to it works perfect.

Is there anybody who has the same problem?

I opened a service-call at "VPNOneClick" and we tried several solutions, but nothing has solved the problem.

Yesterday I contacted Apple by phone and I was told to downgrade to 7.1.2 or I have to wait to another update.

Funny.....a downgrade is not possible because since a few days an older iOS can not be installed on their devices.

I am really pi...d off, because this seems to be an other bug in iOS 8.0.2 and there seems to be no way to fix this problem by myself.

The other thing is, that VPNOneClick isn't free and I had paid for using their vpn-servers and can not use them.

Regards,

Michael

PS: I hope my english is good enough, because I'm from germany.

I have figured out what is the problem with vpn connection, it appears every time you upgrade ios not in the specific ios! and solution goes like this 1. turn your vpn and wifi off(by that order)

2.turn off your phone snd turn it on after 2 minutes

3. delete your wifi

4. connect to vpn while you are not connected to wifi- it will inform the system that you are starting all over but not connect ofcourse becouse wifi is off

5. delete vpn

6. create vpn with server adress in numbers ex. 10.64.0.1 and click connect - it still won't connect but it will confirm to the system the information you entered

7. enter wifi data snd connect to wifi and than finally connect the vpn and everything will work greatly

You must follow every single step becouse otherwise it won't work out and trust me I've tryed
