Q: iPad turns on, during "Preparing iPad for Restore"?? Help??
Hey guys,
I have an iPad 2nd gen (iOS 7.1.1) and i jailbroke it for about two months ago. Through cydia I installed Chrome Downloader, but suddenly it wouldn't work anymore, so I downloaded the one for the 64-bit. When I re-launched chrome it said that the chrome downloader 64-bit is made for the A7 processor, and therefor was not compatible with my iPad. It also said that i could still use the downloader, but it wouldn't work fully functionally. So I pressed "Okay" and of course it didn't work.
I gave up trying and turned to the display (not the iPad, the display). But when I tried turning it on again about half-an hour later, it show the apple logo boot-up screen and terminal look-a-like text that spelled out the specs of my iPad. If I just let it hang there, at the end the apple logo in the boot-up screen will just turn gray and freeze.
When i came home i tried restoring it in iTunes, through Restore-mode and DFU-mode. But every time it's "Preparing iPad for Restore" my iPad tries to turn on, and i get error 4014, 4013 or 4005.
Can any of you guys please help???
Hannibal
