Cellular data is turned off for "Settings"

Hello,

I just updated my iPhone 5s to iOS 8.0.2 and I immediately noticed, what I believe, is a bug. Images are attached below.

As you can see, I get a notification that cellular data is off when it's on, and also a notification that it's off when it's truthfully off. I didn't have this problem with iOS 7. Would anyone know what's happening here?

Thank you.

scroll to "use cellular data for:"

and make sure its on for "settings"

I want to know why "SETTINGS" requires cell data. ????

Hi,

That seemed to be the solution. I am wondering too why settings needs a cellular connection to work where iOS 7 didn't need one.

There seems to be a larger problem with my iPhone. I've also noticed that the same four digit extension is applied to my contacts ... all of them. In addition to a problem in calendar entries I think my phone might be screwy.
