Q: How do I get rid of a false face time iPad notification?

Since the update of iOS 8, iPad (4th generation) face time displays a notification, howeve, there is none. I have rebooted but the notification remains. I hope someone can help. thanks!

Hello TellMetr,

It may help to force close all open applications, then restart your iPad.

iPhone, iPad, iPod touch: Turning off and on (restarting) and resetting

If the notification persists, the next step would be to restore the device.

Allen Thanks for your input. But I was able to resolve because of my first issue with cellular data Wi-Fi on the ipad. I turned off celluar data on ipad and the notification disappeared. Go figure. Thanks again!

For me, I finally realized the there are two tabs over the list of recents: Video, Audio. I clicked in the Audio tab and voila, the notifications disappeared.
