    Hi Butterfly_chica05,

Welcome to the Apple Support Communities!

It sounds like the computer may no longer be authorized for the Apple ID that made the purchase of these songs. Please follow the directions in the attached article for authorizing the computer for that account.

    iTunes Store: Troubleshooting iTunes Match

Songs containing DRM (Digital Rights Management) may not appear, or may appear grayed out in iCloud. This can occur if your computer is not authorized for playback of that content. Try authorizing your computer, then manually update iTunes Match.

    1. To determine what Apple ID your computer needs to be authorized for, locate and select the song in your iTunes library.
    2. Choose File > Get Info.
    3. In the Summary tab, locate the Account Name field in the right column and write it down.
    4. Click OK.
    5. Choose Store > Authorize this Computer.
    6. Type in the account name from the Summary field and its password. Click Authorize.
    7. Choose Store > Update iTunes Match.

    Have a great day,

    Joe

Ok my computer is authorized but the issue is the songs are not even showing up in my itunes library since updating to 11.4.  They are on my phone but when i look at the album on the store from the computer it says purchased it doesn't say play, it says purchased instead and that is on the computer.  updating itunes match didn't do it either.

    Hey Butterfly_chica05,

Have you checked the purchased section in iTunes to make sure those songs are downloaded to your iTunes library? Please use the following steps and information to make sure they have downloaded to your library.

    Download past purchases

Download previous purchases on Mac or PC

Make sure your Mac or PC meets these system requirements:

    • iTunes 10.3 or later
You need iTunes 10.6 or later to download previously purchased movies and TV shows.
    • iTunes account in a country where iTunes in the Cloud is available

    iTunes Store

    1. Open iTunes and go to the iTunes Store.
    2. Click Purchased in the Quick Links section.
      Quick links
    3. Select the content type that you want to download (Music, Movies, TV Shows, Apps, or Books).
    4. Select Not in My Library to view purchased content that isn't on your computer.
      Purchased screen
    5. Find the item that you want to download. You can browse using the menu to the left. If you have more than 2,000 songs, you'll see Recent Purchases instead of All Songs or Albums.
    6. Click the Download  icon next to the item you want to download.
If an item is already in your library, the Download icon won't appear.

    Have a great day,

    Joe
